How to cut your hair if you enjoy sports

By George Dodson

As fun as it may be to get involved in a sports activity, for most women it always seems like the cost and stress of managing their hair in the process, is too high a cost to pay, or so it may seem. This bodes especially true for women with long hair, who constantly have to try keep their hair out of their eyes, making it difficult to concentrate on the game. You do not need to fret when this defines you. You can still keep your hair while playing your sport without worrying a bit. Here are some cuts that are best suited for the different sports that you might be involved in.

Braids

There are many types of braids covering your hair length, texture and style. With the type of braids in mind, one can come up with them easily and also manage them effortlessly. The three types of braids are basically double, French and mini-braids. The method of braiding is more or less similar depending on the styling and hair type. People with long to medium hair are more suited with double braids. French braids are suited for people with long thick hair. Mini braids are for people who want all their hair away from their face.

Considering Buns

You most probably must be avoiding the princess Leia look on this one. On the other hand, if Buns are done just right, you hair can be fastened just the right way and you can still get a stylish look. If you have long hair, you should gather your hair into a high pony tail and twist it into one large section, using a hair band. You should secure the bun with another hair band and a bobby pin, for good measure.

Considering a pony tail

Though it looks obvious, this styling is good for keeping medium length hair off your eyes with an ease in styling. To style your hair into a pony tail, you can either use elastic bands to secure your hair or braid your hair into a pony tail. If you have hair that is too short to stay in place, then make the use of bobby pins for securing stray sections to the sides of your head. You can also make the use of a headband to ensemble and secure short hair around your head.
